General Terms and Conditions for Participation in the “You Play. We Plant.” Promotion

1) Eligibility

The fundamental prerequisite for participation is the purchase of a Polytan Green Technology product (LigaTurf Cross GTzero, LigaTurf Cross GTR, Poligras Paris GT zero or Rekortan AS GT and Rekortan Gel GT) by the Customer during the period 01.01.2014 to 31.12.2024 in Polytan’s EMEA sales area. Each eligible Customer will receive a letter by post, which will contain the tree code and further instructions regarding participation.

2) Registration

To participate in the promotion and the associated prize draw, all sent tree codes must be registered to the Customer (i.e. participating municipality, town, club) on the promotion partner’s platform. This is done either via the Polytan promotion page (www.gt.polytan.de/you-play-we-plant) or on the promotion partner’s platform (www.treedom.net). To ensure successful participation in the prize draw, the Customer undertakes to perform the registration in the name of the club or the municipality under which the Polytan Green Technology product was ordered or is being used.

3) Prize draw & participation period

The promotion and the associated prize draw will run for as long as stocks last and participation is possible from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2024. The prize-draw winner will be determined by random draw at the end of the promotion period and notified by post and/or email within 4 weeks of the draw.

4) Prize

In the context of the “You Play. We Plant” promotion, one lucky winner will receive a sustainable WORLD sports kit from JAKO in a colour of their choice. The kit consists of a shirt and shorts without flocking or embroidery.

5) Prize delivery

The method by which the prize will be delivered will be agreed with the winner.

6) Termination options

Polytan reserves the right to discontinue or terminate the competition at any time without notice. This applies specifically if the competition cannot proceed in an orderly manner for any reason, such as software or hardware faults, and/or for other technical and/or legal reasons affecting the administration, security, integrity and/or proper and orderly management of the competition. In such a case, Polytan also has the right to modify the competition at its discretion.

7) Data protection

Participation in the competition requires use of the personal data from the order process. Participants explicitly agree to the personal data in Polytan’s possession being processed and used for conducting and handling the competition. Participants can retract their consent at any time by an email addressed to marketing@polytan.com. In the event of such a retraction, the participant will be excluded from the competition. 8) Recourse to the law and liability

Decisions are final and not subject to appeal. The handover of the prize is not actionable. Polytan is not liable for any loss, delay, modification, manipulation and/or misdirection of emails and/or data during data input, collection, transmission and/or storage; this specifically also applies to incorrect or missing data as well as incorrect information attributable to participants and/or third parties and required for the competition or associated with it.

Should individual provisions of the General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, it shall not affect the remaining General Terms and Conditions.

These General Terms and Conditions and the entire legal relationship between the Customer and Polytan are exclusively subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
